Stenfert creates store interiors for De Mandemakers Groep furniture store specialists on a regular basis. A new interior was recently created in the Montèl store in Rotterdam. Wim Smeekens of De Mandemakers Groep talks about the partnership with Stenfert Interieur & Design.
“In 2000, Stenfert Interieur & Design made the interior for Woonexpress in Beverwijk. This was followed a little later by Woonexpress in Duiven. We were very satisfied with these projects. Since then, we have worked with Stenfert on a regular basis. The great thing about Stenfert is that they deliver high-quality work, pay attention to detail, and understand exactly what your wishes are.“
Refurbishing without closing the store
“Every chain in De Mandemakers Groep has its own retail formula. The Montèl stores are aimed towards the higher segments of the market, so we would like to make sure that is reflected in the store design. Every detail has to be right and the finishing touches have to be neat and accurate. That applies to every store of course, but in the case of Montèl we have to pay just that little bit of extra attention. And that is something that Stenfert understands only too well.”
The Montèl Rotterdam store did not close while the refurbishment work was going on. That was an additional challenge for Stenfert. Wim Smeekens is very satisfied with how the project went.
“They worked neatly, quickly and quietly during the opening hours, so that the customers were affected by the work as little as possible. Stenfert also did the ceiling and frames for the lighting in Rotterdam. All in all, I can say that the partnership went very well. I have every reason to believe that we will be working again in the future with Stenfert Interieur & Design on a regular basis.”
